About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients of the SydPath Department.
A vacancy exists in the above unit for a highly motivated Pathology Collector with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive team.

The successful applicant's duties will include the collection of pathology samples, liasing with medical and laboratory staff with some administrative duties.

Selection Criteria:
- Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent's Health Australia.
- 12 months' experience in the vacutainer method of collection, extensive knowledge of venepuncture, with appropriate qualifications and/or experience in relevant area of pathology.
- Demonstrated high quality customer service skills, coupled with a professional appearance.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously.
- Flexibility with working hours and ability to cover rotating 7 day roster.
- Demonstrated understanding of workplace health and safety.
- Demonstrated effective communication / interpersonal skills experience in a work setting
