Kelmscott Physiotherapy is looking for another Exercise Physiologist to replace an existing role.

This role is Part-time to start with, however we would like to continue to grow the patient load so would anticipate an increase in hours being required in the future.

Our practice has 3 Physiotherapists, 2 Exercise Physiologists and a friendly and helpful reception team.


This role is replacing a current Exercise Physiologist role and will work collaboratively with the team of Physiotherapists as part of a close knit team in the delivery of services across the practice under private, compensable, veterans' affairs and CDM funded programs.

Duties will include the provision of assessment, care and treatment to patients including individual and group services.


Shift Hours:

Mon - 1pm to 6pm

Tue - 8am to 1pm

Wed - 1pm to 6pm

Thu - 8am to 1pm

Fri - 1pm to 6pm


Relevant Registrations

  • Registration and accreditation as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with Exercise Sports Science Australia (ESSA).

Experience/Qualifications

  • New Grads welcome
  • Pilates qualifications desirable
  • Knowledge, clinical experience and case management of chronic disease patients.
  • Knowledge, clinical experience and case management of workers compensation and motor vehicle patients.
  • Knowledge of the use of chronic disease Medicare item numbers.
  • Experience in providing exercise physiology consultations to individuals and groups.

Minimum Essential Selection Criteria

  • Strong ability to market yourself to GPs and your patients
  • Flexibility with working hours to cater to expanding growth and increasing hours
  • Demonstrated ability to assess client needs within scope of service delivery.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and be structured in allocation of time and resources.
  • Working knowledge and ability to use IT and clinical software programs for patient management and reporting requirements.
  • Ability to contribute to written reports in a concise, professional and appropriate manner.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other members of the team.
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • New grads would be considered for this role

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 25 per week


Salary:
$56, $96,085.00 per year
