Your impact and contribution


As the Chapter Area Lead (CAL) - Agility, you will strategically develop the capability of the Chapter Area within the Agility Practice.

You will be responsible for driving consistency and excellence.

The CAL is a leader of people across Agility job family focused on the management and development of Chapter Leads, designing the chapter capability roadmap, workforce plan and collaborate with the Chapter Leads to deliver on the Technology Strategy and customer outcomes.


More specifically you will

  • Define and drive the capability uplift approach for the Agility Chapter Area, in partnership with the Practice and peers (where applicable) and strive to be industry leaders.
  • Coach, mentor and develop Agility chapter leads. Act as a role model.
  • Uplift the Chapter Area maturity by fostering a culture of sharing, learning and problem solving. Implement, evolve and support ways of working that align with industry standards.
  • Partner with Chapter Leads to determine skillset / capability requirements and alignment of resources that best fit with strategic priorities. Ensure capability is delivered at the right time to the right work.
  • Ability to step in as a Coach to enable agility for crews and teams in Pace.
  • Leverage metrics, data, feedback and market trends to inform continuous improvement opportunities that increase the effectiveness of the Chapter Area.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of the Bank's project management tools, processes and methodologies and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Work with project and management services to improve benefits identification and measurement process as well as impact assessment and change control estimation capability.
  • Effectively manage relationships and communications with stakeholders, including customers and delivery teams.

We want to hear from you if you have

  • Experience leading large teams
  • Knowledge and experience in Agile coaching and delivery
  • Deep knowledge and experience of Scrum, Kanban and SAFe
  • Extensive experience with Jira & Confluence Experience consulting with senior executives
  • Highly developed Leadership, people and communications skills


  • Recognised Agile certifications

  • Desirable
