What you'll love
Step into a business that offers invaluable solutions to customers managing their waste and recycling needs. As the Key Account Manager, you will influence and assist clients in achieving sustainability outcomes.

You will be assisting the existing Client Liaison Officers and Account Managers in managing waste, water and energy services at new and existing client sites.

You'll have the opportunity to make a difference in large scale waste generating industries, ensuring they are profitable. You'd be focused on innovation and efficiencies to improve customer waste management practices. You will gain notable experience managing a wide range of wastes, improving waste and recycling outcomes and much more. No day is ever the same


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage internal and external supplier arrangements and relationships
  • Accomplish customer requests and communication in a timely and informative manner
  • Provide proactive waste solutions that contribute to achieving sustainability goals
  • Maintain close customer relations with clients by providing a professional, high quality service
  • Drive all client accounts / projects profitablity and deliver on their promised objectives
  • Ensure the business leads the waste sector in safety/environmental performance, and identifies and manages its key HSE risks
  • Proactively manage unplanned emergencies

Who you are
You'll have prior experience with business customers, in either a customer care or support role and working with SLAs. be experienced with Salesforce and enjoy working in a busy, supportive team environment.

  • You'll have at least 3 years experience preferably in the waste, water or energy management industries
  • You'll have relevant formal qualifications are preferred, but not essential (e.g. Business Management, Environmental Management or Waste Management)
  • Ideally you'll have exceptional presentation / report preparation software skills across full suite of Microsoft
  • As hours of work may vary depending on business requirements and may require some interstate travel flexibility is required
  • Key to the success of this role is being customercentric, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike. Previous experience in customerfocused roles is essential
  • You'll use your positive attitude and natural ability to solve problems to great effect in this role, did we mention no two days are the same?
  • Timeliness and organisation are key in this role, that means knowing what to prioritise and having a clear sense of urgency
  • You'll be a great communicator, with the ability to engage and inform customers
