Job description:
Maintain a high standard of room servicing and cleaning in allocated areas, removal of garbage and collection/distribution of linen.
Assist with food preparation, production, plating service, warewashing, and cleaning duties in the provision of catering services to officers, visitors and staff of the Tasmania Police Academy.

Period of Appointment:

20 August 2024 to 19 August 2026

Hours per fortnight:

73.50

Duties:

Maintain a high standard of room servicing and cleaning in allocated areas, removal of garbage and collection/distribution of linen.

Assist with food preparation, production, plating service, warewashing, and cleaning duties in the provision of catering services to officers, visitors and staff of the Tasmania Police Academy.

Essential Requirements:

Pre-Employment Checks

Arson and fire setting;
Sexual offences;
Dishonesty (e.g. theft, burglary, breaking and entering, fraud);
Deception (e.g. obtaining an advantage by deception);
Making false declarations;
Violent crimes and crimes against the person;
Malicious damage and destruction to property
Trafficking of narcotic substance;
False alarm raising.

Desirable Requirements:

Appropriate qualification, training and/or experience in the hospitality services.
