On behalf of our client, Brunel are seeking a highly skilled Project Lead to manage multiple Sustaining Capital projects at particular mine sites in the Pilbara WA.


About this role Responsibilities**:


  • Management of all project elements (cost, quality, schedule, site delivery & safety) related to capital projects in accordance with the company's Sustaining Capital Portfolio Framework using standard tools, procedures, and specifications.
  • Provide guidance and support to project engineers, site engineers, and onsite project advisors.
  • Develop relationships, engage, and liaise with all stakeholders providing progress updates of engineering and construction activities in accordance with the project schedule.
  • Provide progress reports and updates as required and directed by your team leader.
  • Identify the business risk for the project and develop the business case.
  • Deliver the project utilizing the company's Sustaining Capital Portfolio Framework.

About you Requirements**- Experience with project management in studies and construction (leading project team for full life cycle).

  • Experience with project engineering in studies and construction (part of project team for full life cycle).
  • Experience with project management or project engineering in studies or construction (partial life cycle).
  • Experience with delivering capital projects (gated framework).
  • Experience with project delivery in the Pilbara.


  • Bachelor of Engineering

  • Mechanical, Electrical, or Structural Or Trade Certificate + Project Management Training
  • Core project delivery skills (cost, schedule, quality) developing cost estimates, managing budgets, and developing and managing schedules.
  • Technical experience in multidisciplinary projects (i.e., structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, controls, civils, and earthworks) for mining, plant, and processing projects.
  • Commercial experience developing and managing contracts, assessing claims, and dispute resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills written and oral, project lead will be required to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, write reports, develop and deliver effective presentations, facilitate workshops, and chair meetings.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills developing relationships with internal clients, project support teams, and other stakeholders is key to success in the role.
  • Selfmotivated.
