Canberra ACT- xx- Contract/TempWe are seeking a Cyber Security Penetration Tester to join our Federal Government client who will assist with the refresh of our Authority to Operate assessment in 2024.

This is your chance to make a difference for our Federal Government client in this
3 month contract with
additional extensions offered.

Australian Citizens with the ability to obtain a NV1 security clearance will be considered for this role.

Requirements of the engagement will be to:

Test Scope
the scope identifies targets and test types based on threat modelling;
Test Objectives the test objectives pinpoint the penetration testers' targets, determine what type of testing is required and gauge what success looks like.
Attack Sources such as from within, or external to, the Department;
Test Schedule;
Test Cases informed by industry guides
Rules of Engagement these rules outline specific activities that are permitted or disallowed during the testing activities.

The Penetration Test Report should include elements such as:

Executive summary
Scope
Constraints and Assumptions

Findings

Outcomes (positive or negative), Vulnerabilities and Issues
Recommendations

The experience and skills for this role are:

Demonstrated experience and a defined methodology in conducting penetration tests for ServiceNow or similar cloud platforms like BuyICT.
Demonstrated ability and experience to document outcomes including vulnerabilities and issues, in writing technical and executive reports, to communicate findings to both technical and executives, and to make recommendation to improve security.
Capability to provide the key deliverables as per the requirements.
Key personnel have qualifications relevant to performing penetration tests on ServiceNow or similar cloud platforms like BuyICT.
