About the Role


As the Care Home admin - known as a Customer Service Consultant (CSC) in Bupa, you will work alongside Gamze our dynamic Customer Service Manager and closely with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager of the care home.

Along with being one of our welcoming faces, you will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks to help support the operation of the care home.


Duties
Each CSC has their own portfolio of duties.

Generally, we have one that focuses on rostering and pay, one on training/compliance/HR, and one on occupancy and residents, and then everyone has reception duties.

Below is an example of tasks but you certainly wouldn't be responsible for all of them

  • Staff rostering including HR administration support
  • Management of resident administration including enquiries, admissions and maintaining occupancy targets
  • Financial management including petty cash, receipting, and banking
  • General administration including document control, mail, customer service, reception, maintaining the coffee machine etc

Skills and Experience


Patience Working in a care home is fun and rewarding, we truly love our residents, but it also requires calm and patience, and a sunny disposition.


  • Previous work experience in an administration and customer focused role in a servicerelated industry is essential.
  • Experience in Roster Coordination, ideally high volumes within a clinical or care setting
  • Knowledge of accreditation and standards, background in Aged Care/Practice Management/Hospital advantageous
  • Ability to manage multiple and changing requirements in a fastpaced environment
  • Resident focus with a passion to put customers first
  • Previous experience in an aged care or retirement living sales environment is desirable
