Experience planning and leading complex enterprise projects in a fast‐ paced, high growth environment is critical.The ability to form strong relationships with team members, proactively manage risk, and facilitating successful teams are essential in this roleThe Director, Delivery Assurance is expected to be a thought leader for Delivery Assurance that provides key contributions to the team vision and strategy by drawing on industry best practices, previous experience and alignment with corporate strategy
Responsibilities:
Design and drive Delivery Assurance initiatives, including those that;
Enable the delivery teams on standard methodologies
Provide delivery leadership with insights that drive action or contribute to key decisions
Ensure the appropriate level of governance is built into delivery at various levels (project, program, portfolio)
Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement in delivery
Provide support to strategic projects and programs in the way of oversight and adherence to established standard methodologies
Drive increased satisfaction and benefits realization for our customers.
Drive Delivery Assurance initiatives related to quality, methodology, expertise, and tools for our global services organization
Help to create and deliver enablement to the Project and Program Management Community
Assist Project Managers and Team in Project Start-Up and Closure, retaining standard methodologies and writing up changes needed for Risk Review, Methodology, Templates and other Artifacts, systems, tools, or enablement.
Complete project reviews for multi‐million dollar, strategic client projects.Demonstrate thought leadership for PMO development and optimization.
Design and deliver a program to deliver Project Management expertise to the services organization
Facilitate executive conversations regarding budget, resources, schedule and risk
Act as a coach for any and all Methodology and Project Management processes, including all Agile Scrum ceremonies.
Commit to timely achievement and maintenance of required certification credentials
Provide hands‐on program and project management for multi‐million dollar programs across multiple lines of business
Assist in sales and business development efforts
Exercise project leadership skills combined with strong business insight and in‐depth analytical skills
Establish and maintain trusted advisor relationships with client project team members by providing vision and future product road mappingExperience/Skills Required:
Previous experience designing, implementing and/or evolving a Delivery Assurance organization that lead to an improvement in professional services delivery and key corporate key performance metrics.
PMO specific certifications or experience; demonstrating an understanding of established PMO industry standard methodologies; differing PMO models and structures, PMO maturity levels, PMO functions etcDemonstrated number of years experience in waterfall project management delivering technology services or business consulting services as a program or project manager in large, complex technical environments
Oversight of multiple $10 M + engagements.
Experience delivering Professional Services for a product company
Experience with Agile SCRUM delivery practices
Ability to work well in a cross‐functional, matrix management environment with a highly collaborative, team oriented approach to problem solvingExperience/Skills Desired:
PMIPMO certifications; P3 O, AIMPO-E, BCS-PPSO
PMP or similarcertification/trainingScrum Master certification
Scaled Agile frameworks, such as SAFe
Salesforce.comexperienceSoftware‐as‐a‐Serviceexperience (Saa S)/cloud computing Experience in areas of CRM
