Our client, a leading higher education institution in Australia, are seeking an experienced Procurement/Service Consultant to provide exceptional customer service and transactional support to staff and students.

Key Responsibilities
As part of Procurement Operations, you will be the first point of contact for UniBuy Desk related queries.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Provide transactional support and advice, ensuring enquiries are handled accurately and within agreed service timeframes.
  • Utilise knowledge base articles and reference materials to resolve transactions effectively.
  • Raise tickets for unresolved enquiries and escalate issues to appropriate teams when necessary.
  • Proactively identify and participate in continual improvement initiatives within the Procurement Operations team.
  • Interpret Finance & Procurement policies and guidelines to provide accurate advice to customers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the institution to ensure effective service delivery and foster a culture of collaboration.

Requirements:


  • Tertiary qualifications in Procurement, Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to convey information empathetically to individuals at all levels.
  • Ability to prioritize workloads, work independently, and solve problems efficiently.
  • Proficiency in using online systems, including UniBuy and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Familiarity with incident logging systems like ServiceNow is advantageous.
