About the role

:


  • Understand your business, across our Children's needs, families, compliance, operations, and most importantly, your People.
  • Support the Director in the delivery of an excellent service environment; aesthetically appealing and inspiring, educationally, and culturally engaging.
  • Model creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement to ensure the ongoing enhancement and accessibility of services.
  • Partner with the Centre Director positioning your service to always be aiming for Exceeding within the National Quality Framework.
  • Support the Centre Director to enable the success of your service; how your service is run, how it performs, and where you want your service to be in the long term.

Skills & experience

:


  • Minimum of Diploma level Early Childhood qualification
  • COVID 19 Vaccination Cert or proof of vaccination
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current National Police Clearance Certificate
  • Current Medical Clearance
  • Current approved First Aid Certificate / Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
  • A min 2 years' exp as a qualified educator in an early childhood setting
  • Sound understanding of the developmental needs of children aged 05 yrs
  • Knowledge & exp of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF),
  • Knowledge & exp of the National Quality Framework (NQF)
  • Knowledge & exp of the National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Effective communication skills with families, staff and children
  • Effective leadership skills.

As part of your role, you will be working with young children and those who are vulnerable.


It is your obligation to always ensure their safety and report any concerns that you have, in line with our duty of care obligations.


You will be required to regularly provide the necessary- Working with Children Check- Police Clearances- Reference Checks from a previous Manager.


Our client has a zero tolerance stance when it comes to abuse of any kind and will take disciplinary action, including and up to termination of employment, should we determine that abuse has taken place or there has been a failure to report any suspected or alleged abuse.
