Overview:

Si Paradiso is a relaxed dining destination situated in Highgate, Western Australia.

Our venue is a multi-faceted space that consists of a vibrant restaurant, and an incredible outdoor courtyard & amphitheatre space.

We celebrate high quality food, produce led, and an ever-evolving seasonal menu with pizzas & plates.


We are looking for a Food & Beverage Manager to join the team In this capacity, you will be instrumental in driving the success of our food and beverage operations through comprehensive oversight of all service-related aspects.

This position is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in Highgate, WA.


Main tasks

  • Planning & implementing Courtyard Venue menus in conjunction with the Head Chef
  • Staff recruitment lead & train new & current staff
  • Selection and induction of new staff
  • Management of purchasing & pricing of all stock and produce, including but not limited to ordering, cost of goods budget adherence & reporting
  • Operational management of bookings & functions for Courtyard Venue
  • Liasing with guests during service to assess their satisfaction with the venue experience
  • Liasing with suppliers, security personnel and Racing, Gaming & Liquor
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workplace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures
  • Other tasks as directed

Required/Relevant Qualifications & Work Experience

  • Minimum of a Diploma of Business, Management or Hospitality
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the industry
  • Approved Manager card issued by Racing, Gaming & Liquor (WA)

Required/Relevant Skills & Knowledge

  • Ordering and comprehensive stock management
  • Human resources and people management skills as it will be required to interview, select, hire and train new staff.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Organised and able to meet deadlines

Annual salary will be between $60,000.00 to $80, plus superannuation) depending on level of experience.
