Bamboo Catering, based in west Perth, is a boutique event & corperate caterer servicing discerning corporate & private clients, in a variety of venues across the city, corporate head offices & private homes.

From point of initial customer contact, we work to design our offerings to fulfill clients desires, to utilize the best available event suppliers & produce, menu design, food & beverage execution with impeccable front of house service, the role will be based from West Perth, 6005


About the role

• Overseeing day to day food & beverage operations
• Attend functions & be responsible for the operations and supervision of events and bookings including bump in/bump out, management of staff, liaising with clients and kitchen team to enable the smooth execution of functions.
• Coordinate & facilitate daily operational & logístical requirements of the company as required.
• Hiring and training new floor staff
• Organize and supervise shifts including rostering
• Assist the Head Chef with Menu development
• Control operational costs and stock control management
• Resolve food & Beverage complaints in line with the venues policies

About you:

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar management role, such as restaurant manager
• AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Hospitality Management.

- be energetic, self motivated & ability to be flexible in this varied role
- hold a passion for hospitality and a desire to share this experience with your team.
- have strong organization and administration skills
- excellent communication & computer skills - working with Microsoft office, excel, word, outlook, xero.
- have a positive can do attitude & willingness to learn.
