The Opportunity

You will be responsible for:

Assisting the team with site due diligence and analysis, including land / building appraisals, redevelopment opportunities and strategies
Concept development and feasibility reviews, working with professional consultants in a broad range of property sectors
Business case development for acquisitions, capital approvals and general property investment throughout Australia
Economic analysis, including demographic, demand and supply assessments
Report writing and presentations for clients and stakeholders
Provide advice and support to the Executive Team when required
Communicate effectively with the team and administration staff
Business development to source and secure new opportunities
Site selections and assessment
Investment review and analysis of options
Managing subconsultant teams and overseeing / coordinating their deliverables.
Undertaking the above across a diverse range of sectors, including residential, aged care / retirement living, sport and recreation, civic and community, retail and hotel

Essential Skills and Experience

Tertiary qualifications (Property or Economicsrelated degree) with at least 3 years' experience in the property industry
Strong financial, analytical and valuation skills, or thorough understanding of methodologies
Experience with project financing and funding structures (not essential)
Knowledge of feasibility programs such as Estate Master and the ability to develop from scratch (Excel) (not essential)
Good understanding of the concepts behind property investment, development, and communitybased investment
A desire to interact with industry and build a strong network
Good understanding of property and investment performance metrics and KPIs
Ability to project manage and coordinate a subconsultant team, for roles where it is required
Strong research capability and data capture skills
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to selfmanage and operate effectively in a team
Ability to maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
A willingness to learn
Exceptional presentation and customer service ability
