About this role:


Working within Queensland Rail's MPI team, the Railway Integrity and Assurance Manager role will see you joining the Systems and Integration team working across several different projects.

You will have a strong background in audit and assurance with the ability to build excellent working relationships with stakeholders.


You can expect some of your responsibilities to include:

  • Provide Systems Engineering management, guidance and advice to Project Directors /Managers and Assurance providers on integrated technical assurance planning and artefacts delivery.
  • Lead and develop Railway Integrity Assurance artefacts on behalf of QR
  • Ensure the quality of artefacts for presentation to the Railway Change Authority
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure Systems Engineering and integration process is compliant with business process.

What you can bring to the role:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in system engineering, risk management, assurance and governance principles
  • High level of skill in managing a large range of stakeholders
  • High level of leadership, strategic thinking, and management skills
  • Extensive knowledge of rail systems and safety case development would be highly favourable
