While our client.

Bedcorp (West-Trans) business is expanding, we have multiple positions opening up which need to be filled to keep up with demand.

The role of the fitter is to install truck bodies and lifting equipment (skip loaders, hook lifts, truck cranes, and flat trays), onto cab chassis.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

The Job:


  • Drilling and bolting mounting plates to chassis
  • Bolting and welding down truck bodies using MIG welding
  • Hydraulic plumbing
  • Electrical wiring
  • Testing the safe operation of machine once installed and tuning / setting safety features

The Person:


  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude towards work
  • Ability to work within a closeknit team
  • Qualified light vehicle mechanic, panel beater or related tradesperson
  • Decent customer service skills
  • Ability to wire up driving lights and diagnose basic electrical faults

  • $50000-$75000 PA
