    Based in Waratah (Newcastle), accommodation choices range from independent living at our Maroba Terrace units through to full care (including dementia, Alzheimer's and palliative care).Maroba is built on a foundation of big hearts, @ Maroba if you care to make a difference, you will be challenged, you will be inspired and you will be part of something bigger.

    We are seeking a passionate and experienced professional to join our Maroba team, in a senior leadership role.

    We seek a Permanent Full Time Leader to lead a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional wellness programs to Maroba residents.

    Key Outcomes will include;Ensure we provide safe quality delivery of wellness programs to our residents and clients.
    Demonstrate initiative, flexibility and be outcome-focused with an ability to find solutions to resolve problems.
    Proactively work with all teams in the prevention of injuries.

    Ensure the completion of accurate and appropriate documentation required for resident care in accordance with aged care legislation and associated principles, accreditation standards and other standards required.

    Support the wellness team in day to day operations ensuring resources are appropriately allocated.
    Build capacity within the teams through mentoring, teaching and transfer of knowledge utilising evidence based practice.
    Connecting with all partners to achieve the best outcomes for our people.

    We are seeking applicants who have;Extensive experience working as a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist in an Aged Care setting with responsibility for overseeing resident programs, assessments and reportingDemonstrated ability to lead a multidisciplinary team to achieve stated outcomesDemonstrated experience in designing resident focussed programs based on evidence-based practiceHighly effective written, verbal and interpersonal skillsA working knowledge of the Aged Care Quality StandardsDegree in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therpay with current registration with AHPRAThis role create an opportunity for you to join a not-for-profit aged care provider with a heart, and a team of passionate people creating sustainable caring communities through transformational leadership.
