The QA team is a patient centric team, helping to bring innovative medicines to patients through focus on batch release and compliance activities in Australia and New Zealand.
- The QA Associate's role is to handle quality aspects and projects within their area of responsibility. The QA Associate will also ensure and support overall GxP conformity and compliance within the Novartis Quality Management Systems.
- Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate the complaints, counterfeits and product tampering activities according to the Novartis Corporate Quality Manual and local written procedures.
- Act as Training administrator for Quality Assurance team & Supply Chain team. Initiate Annual Training Reviews for QA and Supply Chain. Monitor training compliance of site periodically.
- Assist with Change Control activities according to Novartis SOPs from receipt, through to the implementation and closure.
- Support the implementation of quality system and procedures for the implementation of Novartis Quality Manual. Assist with local documentation management, as required.
- Support incoming drug product inspection prior to release to the market in accordance with the current in place procedures, registered specifications and with local/international regulations, as required.
- Support the team with Exception Management Activities, as required.

Minimum requirements
- What you'll bring to the role:
- To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Tertiary qualification in Sciences (Chemistry or other Life Sciences)
- At least a couple of years working experience in related QA role (complaint experience desired)
- Knowledge of GMP
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to impact, influence and collaborate with key partners
- Problem solving capability
