National civil recruitment company (WA&NSW), moving to Brisbane QLD

Career progression pathway through to a leadership role within the branch

Connect Resources is an industry leading brand in civil construction in the WA and NSW market, supplying labour hire to major civil contractors such as Georgiou, Downer and CPB Contractors.

We are continuing to grow on the back of two successful offices in WA and NSW, prompting a move in to the Queensland market.

The office is centrally located in South Brisbane with a 2 minute walk to South Bank train station.

We have built a reputation for:

Being genuine
Working on the major civil projects across the states (Metronet, Great Eastern Highway Upgrade, Stephensons Avenue Upgrade to name a few)
Knowing our industry inside and out.

This role will be client focused where you will be responsible for talent mapping for future assignments, regularly communicating with contractors and clients while developing a network of contacts through referrals.

The Business Development role will also involve:

Working directly with the Managing Director who will teach you how to build a reputation and network like them
Contributing to the team's success through coming up with new ideas, working together and supporting each other
Build strong client relationships through understanding their recruitment needs
Stay uptodate with industry trends and market knowledge

As a high-performing Business Development Officer, you will have the potential to advance to a leadership role, where you'll oversee and optimise recruitment processes, mentor junior consultants, and contribute to strategic decision-making.

We ask that you have:

2 years+ experience either on a construction, in office experience in civil construction or a degree / relevant TAFE qualification such as Business, Marketing or Construction
Confident communication skills with an interest in connecting with people
Eagerness to learn about an industry in depth
