About the role

An exciting opportunity has become available for a qualified Instrument Technician Grade III or IV to join Maroondah CSSD on a Casual basis.

We are responsible for the reprocessing of reusable medical equipment for Surgery, Endoscopy and other areas of the hospital.

The CSSD team is skilled, friendly, supportive and dedicated to ensuring the highest standards in the reprocessing of medical equipment.

This will be an opportunity to develop your career in Sterilizing Services.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:
Certificate III or IV in Sterilising Services

Ability to be available at short notice and to work both am and pm shifts

Highly developed interpersonal skills

A strong commitment to high quality care

The ability to work as part of a diverse team

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Experience or knowledge of Decontamination and Sterilization of surgical instruments in accordance with AS/NZS is an advantage.

Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role.
