How will I help?


The purpose of this role is to ensure the Industry, Process and Policy & Credit Decision Management villages in BL are proactively managing risks including risk in change through strong oversight and risk advice.

Within the role you will lead the 'Industry, Process and Policy & Credit Decision Management' aligned team within the BL BCM team to:

  • Support the Industry, Process and Policy & Credit Decision Management villages to uplift their ability to proactively identify and manage risks including supporting the EM of Risk Performance for risk in change;
  • Support and advise the Industry, Process and Policy & Credit Decision Management villages on new risks and facilitate the risk identification process (excludes project support);
  • Oversee and advise on Prudential Credit Risk Management; and
  • Contribute to and be aware of CSAs, quarterly risk assessments and emerging risks assessments; Reporting (NFR, FRISKCO, CBB RISKCO, etc); Attestations (Prudential & SOx) and Assessments (RMF & Risk Culture); and Assurance & Testing as they relate to the Industry, Process and Policy & Credit Decision Management villages.

  • Extensive experience in Credit Risk Management including knowledge of APRA's credit prudential standards
  • Proven ability to deliver quality risk outcomes in collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Excellent planning, organisational, collaboration and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Strong judgement and decision making skills
  • Strategic thinking and problem solving
  • Continuous improvement mindset and enthusiasm to act as a change leader in supporting risk transformational activities
  • Strong Leadership experience including motivating, inspiring and developing the team, fostering a highperformance and proactive risk culture
