    Corporate Tax Manager (full time or part time)

    The Role

    As a senior member of the Corporate and International Tax teamyou will provide specialist tax advisory and compliance services toa wide range of clients, with a focus on midmarket clients. Therole is 70% to 80% advisory work. Working directly with a Partner,you will have responsibility for managing and deliveringassignments, assisting in the development of more junior members ofthe team and building lasting client relationships. The idealcandidate is a self-starter who has aspirations to accelerate theircareer development and progression.

    We would consider part-time for the right person.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Preparation and review of advice, reports and other clientdocuments
    • Implementation of delivered advice (e.g tax structuringstrategies)
    • Preparation of M&A tax advice, including tax duediligence reports and review of sale & purchaseagreements
    • Corporate tax compliance, including the review of incometax returns
    • Identify risks and apply global and local quality controlprocesses and risk procedures
    • Ensure client engagements are completed to a high standardwithin a specified timeframe
    • Participate in business development activities to promotethe firm, its services and your personal brand
    • Directly contribute to the development of service linestrategy

    Qualifications, Skills & Experience

    • Management experience with at least 4 to 5 years'experience, ideally in Corporate Tax or Private Clients Taxwithin a Big 4 or a mid-tier firm.
    • CA or law qualification, tertiary qualification in Tax
    • Demonstrated analytical/problem solving ability
    • Demonstrated writing ability, drafting of letters of adviceand other technical documents
    • Demonstrated background in tax compliance
    • Strong research and business analysis skills
    • Ability to work well as a member of a high performingteam
    • Ability to build strong relationships both internally andwith external clients
    • Demonstrated self-starter
