Senior Pronto Developer
We seek an adept Pronto expert with extensive experience in tailoring Pronto ERP using 4 GL.

As a valuable member of our ICT team, you will be responsible for overseeing and facilitating a range of tasks, including Customization, Integration, Advanced Configuration, Bug Resolution and Maintenance, Report Creation, Data Management, User Training and Support, Security and Upgrades, and Enhancements.

Furthermore, our strategic plan each year involves migrating additional ERP systems onto the core BRG platform.

This role encompasses comprehensive end-to-end support, spanning from configurations and customizations to aiding our business functions, all the way to crafting training materials and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deploy and assist our users.

Qualifications and Requirements

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

A profound comprehension of programming principles and hands-on experience with development methodologies, including tools embedded in Pronto XI, the Pronto SDK, and the associated Component Library.

Background in business application programming, ideally within a Warehousing/Distribution context.
Familiarity with Pronto Xi Point of Sales is advantageous.
Knowledge of Pronto Xi Manufacturing or fundamental manufacturing principles is a plus.
Demonstrated functional experience in Finance and Pronto Xi Financial Modules.
Familiarity with Pronto SMC and a basic grasp of the Unix/Linux environment.
Competence in user administration and understanding Pronto Xi Menu/Security/Roles/Functions concepts.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Word, and robust data formatting and manipulation skills using MS Excel.
Desirable familiarity with Trueforms Neo and Cognos.

Required Technical Skills

Expertise in Pronto Xi 4 GL, Pronto SDK, and Pronto Screen Customizer.
Familiarity with Pronto Applistructure Tools such as Alert Intelligence and Data Intelligence.
Working knowledge of SQL and database architecture principles.
Familiarity with Pronto Xi Proman Utility.
Experience with Version 720 or later, with a preference for 750 or later.
