Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet business objectives in Australia and New Zealand
- Manage and develop relationships with existing distributors and customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new product lines and markets
- Develop and manage sales budgets and forecasts, and ensure effective resource allocation to achieve sales targets
- Work closely with headquarters to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify business opportunities
- Deliver regular sales reports and updates to senior management in Germany
- Participate in the development of marketing and promotional materials as well as represent the company at exhibitions and events
- Develop and maintain an understanding of the company's culture and values, and ensure they are reflected in all sales activities
- Reporting to HQ in Germany
To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum of ten years' experience in a similar position, with a proven track record of success in managing distributors
- Sales experience in home appliances, kitchen interior or related products is an added value
- Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong English communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with distributors, customers, and internal stakeholders
- Ability to understand the culture and values of a familyowned German company
- Proven ability to manage sales budgets and forecasts effectively
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, and ability to ensure compliance
- Ability to work independent
- Work permit combined with willingness to travel within New Zealand and Australia
