Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet business objectives in Australia and New Zealand
  • Manage and develop relationships with existing distributors and customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new product lines and markets
  • Develop and manage sales budgets and forecasts, and ensure effective resource allocation to achieve sales targets
  • Work closely with headquarters to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify business opportunities
  • Deliver regular sales reports and updates to senior management in Germany
  • Participate in the development of marketing and promotional materials as well as represent the company at exhibitions and events
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the company's culture and values, and ensure they are reflected in all sales activities
  • Reporting to HQ in Germany

To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of ten years' experience in a similar position, with a proven track record of success in managing distributors
  • Sales experience in home appliances, kitchen interior or related products is an added value
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong English communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with distributors, customers, and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to understand the culture and values of a familyowned German company
  • Proven ability to manage sales budgets and forecasts effectively
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, and ability to ensure compliance
  • Ability to work independent
  • Work permit combined with willingness to travel within New Zealand and Australia
