Description

We are seeking dynamic, motivated and experienced Administrative Assistants to provide efficient and confidential administrative support to the Paediatric Department including administrative oversight of their medical workforce.

The role supports the Director, in their leadership position, including meeting support, diary management and recruitment.

The role assists the senior and junior medical workforce including the preparation, and administering of their rosters, supporting the on boarding of new doctors and orientation.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL HAVE:


  • Proven skills and experience as an administrative assistant including administering the workforce rosters, agenda and minute taking, and diary management (essential)
  • Demonstrated experience working with senior management and working within a complex environment
  • An understanding of health care in the public sector
  • Flexible with ability to adapt to changing work environments and competing priorities and work to deadlines
  • Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to learn quickly and work independently
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office including word and excel at an intermediate level
  • Ability to support relevant meetings including agendas, distribution of documents, minute taking and follow up of action items and database functions
