About the role:

As Procurement Officer (ICT & Infrastructure/General Goods and Services) you will be part of the Procurement Services Group that provides a centralised Procurement Function to Department.

As part of the ICT & Infrastructure / General Goods & Services team, you will be working as part of a small team that administers the undertaking of strategic procurement projects and contract management activities relating to medium value/high risk procurement activities for Department

Your key accountabilities:

Manage medium procurement activities in collaboration with key stakeholders, ensuring that risk, probity, and transparency requirements are addressed.

Monitor and advise on financial, contract management and procurement systems compliance, in accordance with policies and procedures and the State Procurement Policy.

Negotiate and consult with internal and external stakeholders regarding procurement and contract related issues to identify specific business needs and to facilitate compliance within the required timeframes.

Actively participate in an effective and professional procurement team, including drafting and negotiating Contracts.

Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal clients, vendors, and staff to ensure procurement services are responsive to current and future needs.
