Job description

We have an opening for an Interior Designer with mid-level experience in luxury retail and residential design and documentation to join our team.

This is a full time position and hybrid working is not available. The salary is $70,000 - $75,000 per year plus superannuation.

• Key responsibilities include_:

Collaborate with the design team over all aspects of the projects

Preparation of design development drawings and documentation. Preparation of 3D renderings of the designs. Preparation of DA & CC submissions

Preparation of trade package documentation to include tender and construction drawings, details, schedules and specifications.

Co-ordinate with Clients, Architects, Contractors and Consultants

Carry out contract administration of projects on site during construction.

• Qualifications:_

To be successful in this role we require you have the following:
A Bachelor's degree in Interior Design and a high level of proficiency in ArchiCAD are essential.

Proven minimum 2 years experience in interior design with a strong portfolio with luxury retail and residential projects

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experienced in liaising with clients, consultants and suppliers alike

Advanced documentation experience with a portfolio of work demonstrating your documentation ability. Technical knowledge and ability to develop construction details.

Time management and organisational skills with experience in design administrative tasks. The ability to work independently and responsibly to meet budgets and deadlines

A sound knowledge of Australian building regulations and standards is essential

A passion for interior design with an eye for detail and a willingness to be a part of a team.
