Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the
Procurement Specialist will work in a variety of go-to-market, sole source, and contracting activities.

As such, the role is responsible for the effective sourcing, negotiation, and delivery of goods and services as requested by our internal customers.


Please be advised there are 3 roles available which differ in specialising in either Food or Beverage.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
:


  • Source products to meet internal customer's needs, contacting current suppliers and manufacturers
  • Negotiating price, quantity, and delivery schedules with suppliers
  • Generating quote comparisons and contributing to internal supplier selection based on the quotes
  • Identify and provide goods and services and/or suppliers to assist in improving profit margins, considering total cost of business, without compromising product quality or service
  • Update allocation of items to vendors in the ERP system based on contracts held in online repository
  • Develop and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Follow up on non
- delivered goods with suppliers/customers in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure

  • Have a strong understanding of internal business unit needs by meeting regularly

Key Selection Criteria
:


  • Experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain environment
  • Experience working with a broad range of procurement and business stakeholders and suppliers
  • Experience in complex environments
  • Ability to act as a strategic partner through influencing and interacting with key stakeholders across a matrix organization
  • Demonstrate ability of utilising the Microsoft Office Suite of products
  • Someone who is commercially savvy, and process driven
