The Role & What We Are Looking For


Reporting to the Broking Team Leader, the Assistant Account Executive supports the broking team and would suit someone with an interest in expanding their career in the insurance broking sector.


Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Process and invoice new business, endorsements, and renewal quotes for brokered commercial and personal lines insurance products within prescribed timeframes.
  • Gather underwriting information from risk account managers (RAMs) and Members/clients as required.
  • Process and file premium funding contracts.
  • Follow up payments of accepted policies as required.
  • Update claims statues reports.
  • Comfortable in a highvolume, highperformance workplace whilst maintaining high levels of attention to detail.
  • Highly organised.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable in the use of MS Office, particularly Outlook and Word.
  • Sound analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to show initiative and work with minimum supervision.
  • High level of service orientation.
