An exciting opportunity for an Engineering Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.

We are looking for a leader with a people first approach who can also balance between product development and engineering excellence programs.

You will be an integral player in supporting the team and all their members so they can achieve their goals aligned to business objectives.

  • Owning major parts of the system, designing, and delivering quality stable solutions
  • Oversee resource allocation to ensure appropriate business and staff development goals are met
  • Guide, coach, manage and develop best in class engineers across internal team and external consultants
  • Write efficient, maintainable, tested, and well documented code that is suitable for continuous integration and deployment, following best practices and software guidelines
  • Manage the Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and automation processes
  • You will be responsible for the teams' system incidents, and to make sure that the incident management process is followed
  • Collaborating as part of a cross-functional agile team
  • Build and contribute to an Engineering culture that values delivering customer value quickly, and iteratively
  • Support sales initiative, including responsibility for technical responses to customer enquiries.
To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills and experience could include:

  • Strong leadership and influencing skills
  • 3+ years of experience leading Engineering team(s)
  • Deep, technical knowledge on ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET, C#
  • Experience working on Angular 11, Typescript, Smart / Dumb Component Architecture, Angular Material, SCSS, HTML5 & CSS3
  • Experience with a variety of database management systems (SQL, NOSQL), data storage patterns, eventual consistency, data analytics, and reporting
  • Demonstrated belief in TDD, unit, integration, performance, and end-to-end (functional) tests
  • Experience with DevOps and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) operations, tooling, and practices
  • Strong attention to detail with demonstrated strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A desire to continually improve the way in that you and your teamwork
  • Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences both verbally and in written form.
It would be great to bring, but is not required to have:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, specifically App Service, API Management, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Azure SQL DB, T-SQL, Entity Framework Core, etc.
  • Has exposure to automation and continuous delivery
  • Understanding of Microservices patterns
  • Experience in containerization technologies such as Docker.
