An opportunity for a Process and Manufacturing Engineering (PME) Lead has become available position to support the growth of our business based at our Bellevue site.

Newly created, this senior position will include both technical requirements and strategic deliverables, offering both variety and team leadership responsibilities.

Overseeing a team of Manufacturing Engineers, Process engineers and Special process engineers, the role reports directly to the Site MD and is accountable for improving manufacturing processes on site and managing special processes and critical operations regarding product safety and reliability.


Key responsibilities include;

  • Validation activities across the tender and project execution phases in addition to the management of staff capacity and competencies and control of the actual and forecasted workload
  • Participation in building and improving standards and collaboration between business units and functions
  • Manage EHS (environment, health and safety) requirements
  • Ensure the overall function of special processes are managed and executed in accordance with business requirements.

About you

  • Proven experience from a similar role within an industrial background with knowledge or exposure to production processes, automotive or rail industries
  • Technical experience of process engineering, writing and improving manufacturing working instructions, line balancing and lean manufacturing
  • Working experience with an ERP (such as SAP)
  • Excellent communication, organizational and prioritization skills with a naturally collaborative leadership style and ability to coach others, identify risks and promote a safe, inclusive working culture.
  • A natural problem solver and solutionoriented team player
