Your new role


We are seeking a motivated and driven individual
to lead the team responsible for providing high quality training and coaching to the Customer Operations group.

The Operational Governance and Support team maintains the development and delivery of training for wider CSC teams.


As the
Manager, Training, Knowledge, and Governance, you will focus on best practice operational management, innovation, and customer centric thinking.

The ability to effectively lead people and cultivate a collaborative and customer focused environment is essential, as is building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

In addition, this role manages the continuous improvement of the knowledge management repository and the availability of effective and efficient information to all business units.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, review, and maintenance of formal technical training programs utilising a variety of contemporary training methods
  • Coaching and mentoring team members to maximise performance, achieve high quality results and support their professional and career development
  • Assist in the coordination of business unit governance functions inclusive of risk, controls, and audits
  • Identifying and assessing current and future training needs through consultation with stakeholders, data analysis and testing
  • Ensuring resources are accessible, accurate, and reflects CSC's brand whilst meeting technical and compliance requirements

Desired Skills and Experience:


What you'll need to excel

  • You must be an Australian Citizen and be able to hold and maintain a Baseline Clearance
  • Demonstrated experience in leading a multidisciplinary team within a complex operating environment
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience desired
  • Innovative thinking and a consultative approach with team members when delivering feedback, training and ongoing support
  • Experience providing leadership to team members and a point of escalation for problem resolution
  • Understanding of and demonstrated use of the relevant risk and compliance frameworks applicable to CSC
  • Demonstrated ability to build a team which works well across the business
  • Superannuation experience and knowledge of relevant legislation a bonus
