The Role

The purpose of the role is to deliver a strong customer service experience and assist Council by handling internal and external customer enquiries.

This role includes providing administrative, record keeping, accounting duties associated with the operation of the Council services including but not limited to:

Customer Service Counter & Contact Centre
Hawkesbury Waste Facility
Visitor Information Centre
Recovery Centres
Other Council events and services as directed

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has good communication skills, listens attentively, is organised and adaptive, results orientated with a flexible approach to problem solving, and someone who enjoys engaging with their team and maintaining constructive and collaborative relationships.

Essential Criteria

Previous experience cashiering, including end of day reconciliations of money and EFTPOS transactions
Able to handle customer complaints effectively and efficiently
