The Manager, Leadership & Talent Development is responsible for the design and implementation of internal leadership and individual talent development programs across the organisation, with particular focus on developing, delivering activities, and supporting alumni events in support of the Leadership Continuum.


This role will contribute to activities supporting the workforce planning strategy to ensure achievement of sustainment and growth requirements and inclusiveness initiatives in support of the attraction and retention of talent across the organisation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support organisational leaders in the development and growth of their employees through participation in talentbased activities and coaching and mentoring programs and initiatives.
  • Oversee and support the ongoing design and review of the internal leadership programs learning curriculum and related activities.
  • Manage the content and coordinate the delivery of Leadership Continuum programs and related activities and events, in partnership with internal event management stakeholders, thirdparty training providers, academia and internal and external presenters.
  • Contribute to the design, development and delivery of Organisational Effectiveness and Talent Development initiatives to attract, develop and retain talent across the organisation to maximise the return on investment.
  • Develop plans in support of Organisational Effectiveness and the delivery of best practice Talent initiatives in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the establishment of a robust graduate program in support of attracting, developing, and retaining graduate talent across the organisation.
  • Provide metrics in support of business objectives and prepare and submit operational and performance related reports as required and requested.

Skills, Experiences and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of talent management principles and professional development frameworks.
  • Experienced in facilitation, design and ongoing development of content to maximise development and learning outcomes for participants undertaking workshops and leadership continuum programs.
  • Demonstrated capability to build effective relationships, influence business leaders and key stakeholders to achieve required outcomes
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, outstanding skills and competencies in the delivery of leadership and teambased development programs.
