Requirements:

We are currently seeking a General Manager to support the growth of our Victorian practice. Do you have enterprise IT experience in ASX 200 and/or large Public Sector organisations? Do you enjoy building teams? Can you lead a portfolio of enterprise customers through a variety of projects involving cloud strategy, cloud delivery execution, and hybrid cloud operations? The General Manager for Victoria is responsible for building the Victorian practice through the acquisition of new customers, hiring and developing a local team of cloud consulting professionals, managing team utilisation, and delight our customers everyday through high quality delivery execution.

You will build strong relationships with our customers senior technical and business stakeholders, work well in ambiguous situations, formulate direction and coach, mentor and lead customer resources and external delivery partners through the engagement and program life cycle.

As a DigiRen General Manager, you will join an inclusive and welcoming team of Cloud leaders who are among the best in the business.


Ideally your background and experience will include:

  • Experienced technology transformation leaders that can drive business outcomes through the adoption of hyperscale Cloud platforms in large enterprises
  • Experienced consulting leaders, able to develop new opportunities and source the best talent to work with our customers
  • Passionate advocates of Cloud technologies looking to further their experience on significant enterprise transformation projects
  • Independent operators who thrive in a highly flexible work environment and who manage themselves to the highest standards

As a General Manager at DigiRen, you will:

  • Deliver strategy, governance, change and value realisation outcomes for our enterprise customers, which you will manage and also directly deliver if required.
  • Own the engagement lifecycle for the practice, from sales through to resource management and delivery.
  • Engage deeply with Clevel executives to define and execute enterprisewide transformation programs that adopt hyperscale Cloud, becoming the "trusted advisor".
  • Represent DigiRen at industry events or initiatives.
  • Become a recognised thought leader in hyperscale Cloud transformation.

Qualifications

  • Extensive career experience as a leader in IT operations, Cloud computing, IT strategy, and/or IT delivery leadership
- 'C' level presence with excellent written and verbal communication skills, including group leadership and executive presentations

  • Experience working with large commercial and or public sector organisations.
  • Australian Citizenship (Canberra roles) or Permanent Residency (VIC)
  • Demonstrated people management experience in an enterprise technology context performing matrixed leadership in complex environments.
  • Current AWS Cloud Practitioner or Azure Fundamentals certifications, or ability to complete within six months.
  • Ability to travel to client locations when needed within Australi
