The Role

Skout Solutions are looking to for an experienced Finance Admin to support the Living Services contract with Ventia.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will see you assist with all aspects of administration as well payroll tasks associated with a fortnightly pay cycle.


This role will see you based in Ventia's East Perth office, on a Monday - Friday basis approximately 08:00am - 04:00pm (with some flexibility).

Initially this is a casual engagement, however there are opportunities to move into a permanent position.

The pay rate for this position is $32.69 per hour (including casual loading).

Your duties will include but are not limited to

  • Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently and correctly under Hospitality Award
  • Process attendance records, site rosters, and maintaining the payroll information remains up to date
  • Accurately record all changes and updates to information (including terminations, new hires etc)
  • Process financial compensations or deductions (e.g., annual bonuses, severance pay, taxes, worker's compensation, leave)
  • Process and create reports for managers and external stake holders whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and compliance
  • Monitoring a shared mailbox to ensure timely reply to enquires from both internal and external parties
  • Follow up outstanding invoices, reconcile credit card charges and build a billing proforma for endofmonth reporting
  • Complete a series of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to maintain critical database information

Requirements:


  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Essential


  • SAP experience

  • Not essential but highly regarded


  • OPMS rostering

  • Not essential but highly regarded
  • Exceptional attention to detail, superb organisational and time management abilities
  • Great collaboration and communication skills, ability to engage different stakeholders.
  • 3+ years' experience in Finance and payroll
