About the role:

We're looking for an enthusiastic Team leader with experience in NDIS sector.


This New, full-time Hybrid position presents an excellent opportunity to take charge of our team of support workers, ensuring efficient management of all clients in various locations across Australia to consistently deliver efficient supports.

Importantly, it involves travel, enabling you to directly supervise and enhance our services throughout Sydney and Australia wide, contributing directly to the well-being of the individuals we assist.


Tasks & responsibilities:


  • Provide leadership and management for our Support Workers, Participants, and our Supported independent living(SIL) homes.
  • Take responsibility for rostering all direct support staff, ensuring alignment with client needs within the community and Sil homes, and actively monitor community progress while building reports.
  • Complete necessary paperwork, including tasks such as medication reorders, transportation coordination, visitor logs, Stakeholder requests etc.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of client needs, facilitating the matching of appropriate skilled support workers to clients and ensuring service delivery aligns with their care plans.
  • Conduct regular supervision sessions with support workers, fostering a supportive work environment. Cultivate and strengthen relationships with existing Participants and key referrers, such as Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, and Allied Health Professionals.
  • Provide support to Participants, their families, and caregivers to enhance their understanding and access to the business's services and policies.
  • Cultivate a network of connections within the disability and community care sector.
  • Plan and prepare for meetings, ensuring positive and effective execution with measurable results
  • Immediately report incidents in accordance with NDIS incident reporting guidelines

Required Qualification and Experience

  • Preferably with at least 12 months of experience in a similar role within the Disability or Community services sector.
  • Possession of a Certificate III or higher in Disability or Community Services is preferred.
  • Demonstrates a customer servicefocused approach and a passion for working alongside clients with disabilities.
  • Experience using rostering systems and familiarity with Microsoft 36
  • Proficient in both written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel to SIL houses and various locations across Sydney.

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • Current First aid and CPR certificate
  • Current Police Check obtained within the last 6 months.
