What is the role?


Applications are sought from suitably qualified applicants wishing to be considered for the role of Team Member ACT Policing Fleet and Commercial.


These roles assist in the delivery of a range of support services and initiatives within Fleet and Commercial to support ACT Policing.

The roles work closely with frontline members of ACT Policing, internal and external stakeholders.


You will also be required to contribute to the achievement of outcomes in accordance with the regulatory framework, the AFP Code of Conduct and the AFP Governance Instruments.

It is expected that the successful applicant will deliver on the core responsibilities and meet any requirements of the position as outlined below.

What will you do?

Fleet

Process lease quotations and extensions;
Manage Government parking permits and vehicle registration renewals;
Assist with scheduling vehicle services;
Assist with new vehicle collection, old vehicle disposal and vehicle repair drop-off/pick-up;
Process insurance claims;
Management of Fleet inbox;
Assisting with procurement;
General administration duties i.e. filing and archiving.

Commercial

Assist with the purchasing of assets and stocktake;
Assist with capital reporting;
Creation of purchase orders;
Assist with procurement;
Minor building works/projects;
Logging maintenance jobs;
Liaise with AFP property operations, JACS and JLL;
Security access updates;
Management of commercial inbox;
Ordering of name badges/uniforms;
Management of the ACT Policing's Gyms;
Locker audits and managing/ordering keys.
Essential Requirements

You must be an Australian Citizen;
A Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or the ability to obtain one;
Must hold a valid Class C Driver Licence;
Has contemporary knowledge and experience relevant to the role;
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
