We are a multidisciplinary medical centre, offering a hybrid care model, located in Northern Beaches, Frenchs Forest NSW providing obstetrics & gynaecology and diagnostic ultrasound services.

The WHR Provisional Fellow job is available from 05/02/2024.

The aim is to provide high quality women's health based training and care under supervision and guidance of a WHR consultant.

The WHRPF position in Obstetrics and Gynaecology is a training position for 1 year duration and he/she will be responsible for the provision of excellent women's health based clinical care to women who attend WHR for their medical needs, and their families.

The team at WHR is committed to providing the best clinical experience; work-based participation is regularly evaluated and will include:

• General Obstetrics and Gynaecology patient reviews/investigation follow-ups/operative theatre planning/liaison with the multidisciplinary team at WHR.
• Women's health Ultrasound competency in obstetric and gynaecology ultrasound is a desirable skill for this position
• Clinical Quality and Safety interest, this role involves some research and advocacy, especially with creation of resources and awareness of Women's Health based conditions, including Abnormal Uterine Bleeding. Womens Health Road Australia Incorporated (WHRAI) is a Not For Profit organisation co located at 6 Hilmer Street Frenchs Forest and offers supervised opportunity to support vulnerable women in the community.
• Private Surgical Assisting at Northern Beaches Hospital, South West Sydney Private Hospital, Campbelltown Private Hospital, these private surgical assisting sessions are factored into the monthly trainee timetable.
• Collaborative patient care with WISE (WiseMedical Specialist Emergency Clinic) at Macquarie Park, Sydney, including potential on site sessions.
• After hours participation in a NSW Health Public Hospital JMO roster is encouraged to offer obstetrics experience.

Must be registrable with AHPRA

Experience of working in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, advanced training role.

Experience in Women imaging especially ultrasound.

Experience in perinatal counselling.

Excellent communication skills

Women Health road is located at Frenchs Forest, Northern Beaches NSW, opposite the Northern Beaches Hospital.

This area has lots of beaches around and loaded with provisions for a good lifestyle.


Salary:
From $95,000.00 per year
