The Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) has diverse responsibilities for transport systems and services, infrastructure planning and provision within South Australia.
Duties
Are you passionate about data and its role in delivering positive road safety outcomes that benefit all South Australians? The Road Safety Policy and Reform Directorate is seeking an experienced and dedicated data governance specialist who will thrive in a positive, collaborative and flexible work environment.
The core purpose of the Road Safety Policy and Reform Directorate is to provide policy development and delivery expertise and advice across the Road and Marine Services Division and transport network.
The key areas of focus for the Directorate are road safety, motor vehicle registration and driver licensing, heavy vehicles and transport innovation.
In an organisation that celebrates diversity and with collaboration at its core, this challenging role will see you develop and implement a data governance structure for our road safety information holdings and deliver appropriate reporting and information release services for our diverse community of internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications within data analytics, information systems, information management, library science or equivalent professional experience would be desirable.
Special Conditions
Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.
Tenure of Vacancy
Temporary appointment up to 12 months
Remuneration
ASO7 - $106,512 to $115,137 per annum
