Dandenong South Location

Strong potential for this role to be ongoing casual OR temp to perm position
Hourly rate from $47 $54 per hour on day and afternoon shift

This role is requiring an experienced maintenance technician to work within the waste management department of our client.

Based in Dandenong South, our client is seeking somebody who wants to work long term on a competitive hourly rate and within a supportive company.

Hours vary depending on shifts, however the main shift times are:

Morning - 5:30am-1:00pm

Afternoon - 1:10pm-8:30pm

Description

The main duties of the role include:

Maintenance of plant
Conveyor belt maintenance

- bio filter and shredder upkeep

Metal and fabrication works
Occasionally welding required

Profile

Medium/intermediate competency within the role, specialising within an industrial setting. Previous experience in glass, waste, water or food highly desirable however not essential.
Must be punctual.
At least 2 years experience within a similar industry
Comfortable with working around waste/rubbish
