Reporting to the General Manager - Digital Technologies and Analytics
, the
Digital Excellence Manager is responsible for delivering key enablers to allow WesTrac to achieve growth and excellence in digital solutions and insights, while maintaining an exceptional digital experience for our customers.


The Digital Excellence Manager is accountable for ensuring strong alignment between WesTrac's internal digital capability and Caterpillar digital initiatives, accelerating the delivery of key outcomes to customers and revenue growth for WesTrac.

This role works closely with Caterpillar to understand overarching direction, influence outcomes that impact us, and drive consistent delivery across the Digital Technologies team.


The successful individual will lead and develop the Digital Excellence and Growth team to ensure objectives and key performance indicators are constantly achieved, with specific focus on our e-commerce platforms, our customer portal, website, customer on-boarding and lead and opportunity management.

To be successful the following is required:

  • Tertiary qualification in a related field (e.g. Digital, Commercial, Marketing or Business disciplines), or significant demonstrated industry experience.
  • Strong people leadership experience with demonstrated ability to manage people and change.
  • Excellent communication with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships across a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret and transform data into meaningful insights and actions.
  • Ability to create and execute projects to meet organisational and customer needs.
  • Excellent problemsolving and organisation skills, with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities to achieve tight deadlines.
