Ambulatory Cardiac Services


Our
Ambulatory Cardiac Services is one of the largest programs in the
Victorian Heart Hospital delivering an innovative model of care and a comprehensive range of acute and chronic cardiac consulting services.

Supported by a new purpose built EMR module, our Ambulatory Services includes bookings and scheduling for; ambulatory clinics, ambulatory testing, preadmission, diagnostic procedures, and prevention and rehabilitation.

Referral management, support for Multidisciplinary Team Meetings, Call centre and system support and Revenue Support Services.

Cardiac Clinics and Ambulatory testing are also located at satellite sites including Casey and Dandenong Hospitals, Monash Children's and Frankston.

Our
Ambulatory Cardiac Services will be a 'one stop shop' providing patients with an efficient, streamlined and integrated approach to the patient journey within a multidisciplinary team focus, with vastly reduced duplication and patient movements, and standardisation of care.

Underpinning these leadership roles is the ability to mentor a passionate team to provide efficient, timely customer focused diverse services, championing our pathway as a recognised leader in Cardiac Ambulatory Services excellence.

As we continue to grow and build an engaged and passionate team, now recruiting the following 2 x Team Leaders positions:


Administration Cardiac Test Bookings Team Leader:

  • lead and oversee a team who support a diverse range of Ambulatory Administrative services
- train Administration Officers to ensure high quality data management
- oversight of data remediation to repair errors in data capture
- prioritise teams rosters to align with service requirements plus allocation of meal breaks and unexpected sick leave and leave relief for other supervisors
- trouble shoot and resolve concerns and complaints to ensure an efficient service delivery


Revenue Team Leader:

- provide high level service delivery and provision of all aspects of Revenue
- oversee Ambulatory services across MBS outpatient clinics, inpatient and outpatient cardiac tests and procedures and other related tasks
- support other Monash Health sites including Casey, Dandenong, Frankston and Clayton
- implement service business process improvements to ensure revenue and data accuracy
- review current processes and update training materials for the hearts hospitals billing team
