Accessory Fitters fit and replace parts and accessories on motor vehicles.


This qualification reflects the role of individuals who perform a range of routine tasks relating to replacing, fitting, installing and adjusting automotive accessories in the automotive service and repair industry and carry out work according to Australian Design Rules (ADR) compliance and Vehicle Standard Bulletin (VSB) requirements.


Applicants will have great mechanical skills as well as have a sound knowledge of automotive fitting principles, auto electrics and possess a current driver's license.


Key responsibilities will include:


  • Fitting of a very broad range of automotive aftermarket accessories to a wide range of both off road, recreational passenger, and trade vehicles
  • Ensuring that all work is carried out in a timely manner and with the greatest respect to our customer's vehicles.
  • Working closely with our branch retail team to ensure that all work is carried out on time and to our customer's expectations.
  • Helping the team maintain the excellent customer service and satisfaction.

Ideally your skills and experience will include:

  • Strong automotive fitting and/or mechanical skills obtained in a workshop environment.
  • Highly developed automotive workshop skills including an energetic and inspirational style.
  • Ideally some auto electrical skills or experience
  • A "can do" attitude
  • Outstanding relationship building skills
  • A very strong customer service ethic
  • High energy and attention to detail
  • Drive and ambition to grow and develop within the business

Essential Requirements:


  • An interest in the Automotive Industry
  • Able to work in a fastpaced team environment
  • Australian citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Fit, reliable and desire to learn
  • A provisional Licence

  • 8 hour shift
