We are currently looking for a Salon Assistant trainee to join our team.

About our Business
Allure Salon and Spa is located in the heart of Mornington and is a family owned business. You will be working with and assisting 5 qualified stylist ranging experience from 5 to 20 years experience. The business has been operating since 2018 and is education focused. Your hours of work will be Tuesday to Friday 9 to 530

This is an opportunity to learn while you work and can lead to an apprenticeship in Hairdressing or upskilling to the Certificate III in Hairdressing

Duties will include:

Provide shampoo and basin services
Provide head, neck and shoulder massages for relaxation
Ally some hair colour products
Dry hair to shape
Maintain and organise tools, equipment and work areas
Conduct salon financial transactions
Greet and prepare clients for salon services
Communicate as part of a salon team
Recommend products and services
Recommend products and services

A successful applicant should have excellent communication skills, be highly organized, have the ability to work well with others, possess good problem-solving skills, be creative, have analytical and technical skills, and have a strong attention to detail.

Additionally, a successful applicant should have a strong work ethic and be willing to go the extra mile when needed.
