Are you an experienced Payroll Officer seeking a flexible part-time opportunity? Our client is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Payroll Officer to join their well-established team at their Pinkenba offices.

As a Part-Time Payroll Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the payroll function and ensuring accurate and timely payment processing for a weekly pay-run of approximately 700 employees.


Responsibilities:


  • Operating the iChris payroll system to process the weekly payrun for around 700 employees.
  • Calculating and processing payroll adjustments, bonuses, and deductions as required.
  • Accurately maintaining employee payroll records and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
  • Responding to payrollrelated queries from employees and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with the HR team to ensure accurate recordkeeping and timely updates to employee details.
  • Assisting in reconciling payroll reports and resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Participating in the continuous improvement of payroll processes and procedures.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Payroll Officer, preferably working with the iChris payroll system or similar software.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with utmost discretion.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with employees and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Previous experience processing payroll for a large workforce will be an advantage.
