The Role

Your role as the Engineering Manager has accountability for developing, implementing and maintaining cost-effective products and services in a fast growing market.

With the opportunity to based either in Sydney or Melbourne and with flexible working arrangements, you will have 5 direct reports and a further 5 indirect.

The role is a blend of operational and strategic responsibilities and is suited to an experienced leader with strong commercial acumen.

Monitor and track engineering, technological and market trends to develop new products and services and drive performance improvements
Proactively work with Customers, Vendors and internal stakeholders to identify, design and develop new products and services.
Lead and develop the Engineering team to be able to respond effectively to the needs of the business, whilst being on hand to provide technical guidance.
An electrical engineering background and utilities industry experience.
Strong communication skills coupled with the ability to influence all stakeholders on the importance of a good safety culture.
