Description

Sun Engineering is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join our team, you will be reporting to the CFO. The position is based at our Carole Park Head Office.

Here's some of what the position entails:

Processing high volume weekly and fortnightly payroll for employees based here in Australia, and overseas.
Adhere to awards, EBAs and other relevant employment conditions.
Administration of workers compensation payments and superannuation.
Comply with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
Actioning payroll changes and system upgrades in the system.
Weekly, monthly, and annual reporting as required (GL, Tax, variance reports, reconciliations)
Providing a high level of customer service to all employees and stakeholders.
Ensuring the integrity of payroll data in timesheet and accounting systems.
Provide support with daytoday operations of management and administrative teams.
Ad hoc tasks and projects, as required.

This is how you know the role is right for you:

Minimum of 3 years' experience in payroll processing end to end payroll in different industries and environments.
Ability to interpret EBAs and legislation.
Strong attention to detail skills.
Problem solving and proactive work attitude.
Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with the Greentree accounting system (highly desirable).
