    The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) is the voice of general practitioners (GPs) in our growing cities and throughout rural and remote Australia. For more than 60 years, we've supported the backbone of Australia's health system by setting the standards for education and practice and advocating for better health and wellbeing for all Australians.

    About you
    As our Marketing Coordinator, you'll have a relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing with a solid understanding of marketing, communication and brand management principles. Your excellent attention to detail, organisational and planning skills, with experience taking initiative and delivering multiple activities simultaneously, gives you the ability to manage competing demands, work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
    To thrive in this role, you'll also have:

    • demonstrate a high degree of understanding of the marketing planning/ creative development process.
    • experience working in digital marketing, including the ability to optimise initiatives based on analytics and insights.
    • experience building stakeholder relationships, including liaising across all levels of an organisation, with excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
    • evidence of having shown initiative, creativity and drive with a positive, can-do attitude.

    About the opportunity
    Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you'll contribute to the planning, organisation and implementation of marketing activities to support member engagement, retention, membership renewal, event participation and advocacy.
    In addition, you'll:

    • liaise with teams across the RACGP to receive briefs from stakeholders, advise on timelines and scope, and coordinate responses, while also liaising with designers, service providers, agencies and suppliers
    • actively collaborate across Marketing and Commercial and Member and External Communications to ensure marketing activities align with and amplify strategic communication, media and content activities and monitor and measure the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives.
    • coordinate specific initiatives and play a key role supporting the delivery of RACGP marketing objectives.
    • identify opportunities to improve marketing communications to deliver a better member experience in line with RACGP's member value pillars.
