- Supports the execution and maintenance of safe and reliable plant operations by performing work in the warehouse areas with a forklift, assisting with process units, material transfer and utilities operations at plant sites, as well as basic frontline maintenance activities, under close supervision and in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Assists with process product sampling to ensure that the product quality is within customers' requirements.
- Applies safe work procedures and risk control measures to ensure work activities are carried out safely. He is a member of the Emergency Response Organisation (ERO) team and he supports continuous improvement projects in plants.

- Assists in the start-up, monitoring and shutdown of process units and utilities at plant sites.
